Our Capital Matters draft consultation report and accompanying paper is now available for you to read and comment on. You can access it straight off our home page at www.missionmodelsmoney.org.uk

The consultation document argues that a new forward looking, national, long term policy and support framework is needed to help build the financial resilience of the UK’s not for profit arts and cultural sector, especially those of medium sized organisations. It is intended for debate and over the next few months we propose to engage a range of stakeholders in discussions to firm up our proposals and catalyse the necessary actions. We invite you in your consultation responses to let us know how you or your organisation can help us progress this work.

Please note that there is also a accompanying paper referenced in the report which gives an initial overview of the capitalisation of Arts Council England’s Regularly Funded Organisations portfolio by Joe Ludlow.

The ability to comment will remain open for you to share your views until Wednesday October 13th whereupon we will collect them all up and take them into consideration along with those of almost 200 other people from the UK’s arts and cultural sector whose perspective and experience have already helped us shape this document.
